This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner based on the complaint given by the defacto-complainant.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on a complaint given by one Saravana Kumar Seth, the respondent Police have conducted enquiry in CSR.No.59 of 2016 against the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, the respondent-Police is directed not to harass the petitioner. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent-Police is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
