This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.53 of 2024 on the file of the Manjoor Police Station, Nilgiris District. 1/4

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent/Police states that based on the complaint given by the second respondent herein/de-facto complainant, a case in Crime No.53 of 2024 was registered as against the petitioner. On completion of the investigation, the F.I.R. in Crime No.53 of 2024 was closed as 'mistake of fact'. He further states that RCS notice vide R.C.S.No.12/24/R3PS/2024 was also served on the complainant.

3. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
