O R D E R

The petitioner, who has been arrayed as an accused, has been granted bail by the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Coimbatore on 09.08.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.2745 of 2019 for an offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties for a like sum and also to deposit Rs.11,00,000/- towards part of compensation amount before the Lower Court. Seeking modification of such condition, the present petition has been filed.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

3. Considering the submissions made, the condition imposed by Court below directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.11,00,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs only) towards part of compensation amount before the Lower Court, is hereby set aside and accordingly, the condition imposed by the Court below is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.11,00,000/- before the Court below. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. All other observations made in the earlier order dated 09.08.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.2745 of 2019 shall remain intact.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands ordered.
