ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 28.08.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.25214 of 2023, thereby directing the respondents to pay 4% interest per annum for the belated payment of retirement benefits paid to the petitioner and also to disburse the unpaid terminal benefits, if any, with interest at the rate of 4% per annum, within a period of two months. 2.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed passed by this Court, the respondents paid all the arrears amount along with interest to the petitioner. 3.

However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was not paid the arrears of 12(3) settlement.

Considering the above submissions, the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation seeking disbursal of arrears of 12(3) settlement. On such representation, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders for disbursement of 12(3) settlement arrears. 5.

With the above directions, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
