Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent in respect of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.11607/2015/F1 dated 23.03.2016 and thereby direct the first respondent to remove forthwith the encroachment in the nature of concrete wall put up by the respondents 2 and 3 in the Busthuthi Street in T.S.No.59 at Sundararaj Nagar, Villupuram. (Order of the Court was made by R. MAHADEVAN, J.) On 02.03.2023, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that despite the repeated communications having been sent, there was no response on the part of the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be posted today i.e., on 14.03.2023 under the caption "for dismissal". 2.Accordingly, the matter is listed today under the caption "for dismissal". Today also, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition, since the encroachments have already been removed by the authorities concerned. 3.Recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
