O R D E R

This Criminal Revision case has been filed against the judgement and order passed by the Additional Sessions Court, Magalir Neethi Mandram (Fast Track Mahila Court), Erode, in Crl.A.No.100 of 2017 dated 31.07.2017, dismissing the appeal and confirming the judgment and order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Erode in STC No.79 of 2015 dated 03.04.2017, convicting the petitioner for offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentencing him to undergo one year simple imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.3,000/- and in default to undergo three months simple imprisonment.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was represented on the side of the petitioner that the entire cheque 2/4

amount has been settled to the respondent. The learned counsel for the respondent also acknowledged the said fact and submitted that the matter was settled between the parties. 3.

The submission made on either side is recorded and the settlement between the parties is noted and accordingly, the offence stands compounded and the judgement and order passed by both the Courts below shall stand set-aside. 4.

This Criminal Revision case is disposed of in the above terms.
