ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1) (g), 4(1)(a), 4(1-A)(ii) TNP Act in Cr.No.147 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 35 litres of ID arrack and 1900 litres of spirit.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner found an illegal possession of 35 litres of ID arrack and 1900 litres of spirit and he further submitted that petitioner having 5 previous cases. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that petitioner possessed huge quantity of ID arrack and spirit and also having 5 previous cases. On seeing the contact of the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petition seeking anticipatory bail is dismissed.
