This revision seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.6441 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned XVIII City Civil Judge, Chennai.

2. I called for a report from the learned Judge on 23.10.2024.

3. The learned Judge has sent a report stating that the matter is listed on 04.11.2024. She points out that the counsel on either side have stated that they will attempt to settle the matter amicably through mediation.

4. In case, there is an unanimity amongst the parties to settle the dispute through mediation, the learned Judge is requested to grant three months time for the said process. In case, the settlement is not arrived, the learned Judge is requested to take note of the fact that the suit had been presented 22 years ago on the original side of this court. She shall give all the attention that the case requires and dispose of the same within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a report from the Mediation Centre.

5. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
