Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed Under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for committing an act of Contempt of Court by violating the orders of this Hon'ble Court dated 05.01.2022 made in above W.P.No.25921 of 2016. ORDER

The contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for committing an act of Contempt of Court by violating the orders of this Hon'ble Court dated 05.01.2022 made in W.P.No.25921 of 2016.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted the copy of the order passed by the Block Educational Officer, Sithamur Union, Chengalpattu District in proceedings dated 17.11.2022. Therefore, the direction issued by this Court has been complied with.

3. The order of sanction accorded by the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu is valid for one year and therefore, the authorities have to get an order of revalidation for the purpose of proceeding with the file. Thus, further action will be taken on receipt of revalidation from the office of the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu.

4. Thus, the respondents have not committed any contempt of Court. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. No costs. 23.11.2022 Index : Yes Speaking order: Yes kak
