O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to close down the Chilly Grind Mill operated by the 4th respondent by considering his representation dated 31.07.2023.

2.It is the case of petitioner that the 4th respondent is running a Chilly Grind Mill in Anna Street, Avalur Village, Walajabath Taluk in a residential locality. The said Chilly Grind Mill is causing lot of air pollution and consequently, the residents of the locality are affected. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 31.07.2023 and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this court.

3.Mr.S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the 3rd respondent. Mr.P.Anandha Kumar, learned Government Advocate who 2/4

takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 on instructions, submits that though the petitioner enclosed his representation, there is no proof for submission of same to the respondents.

4.In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this court is inclined to direct the petitioner to submit a fresh representation regarding his grievance to the 3rd respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any such representation is submitted by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and final orders shall be passed on merits and in accordance with law by the 3rd respondent within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
