PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondent to register the petitioner complaint dated 12.11.2021 and investigate the matter in accordance with the law. ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 12.11.2021 and investigate the matter in accordance with the law. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner lodged a complaint to the third respondent police on 09.10.2021 and thereafter, to the higher officers on 12.11.2021 but no action has been taken. Hence, the above petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that current papers have been received from the Commissioner of Police, Salem in C.No.785/4599/2021 on 16.11.2021. The petitioner was called for enquiry on the mobile phone and the petitioner has not been responded to the same. Hence, no enquiry would be conducted for the same.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner will be ready to appear before the third respondent police on any given date.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent police on 26.12.2021 along with the copy of the complaint and the documents available with him and thereafter, the third respondent police is directed to enquire and proceed in accordance with law.

6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
