The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 204(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.144 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that under the guise of running a chit company, the petitioner received a sum of Rs.4,50,000/- from the defacto complainant. Subsequently, the defacto complainant came to know that the petitioner is not being so, resulting in registration of the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the defacto complainant is a Proprietor of Viji Food Products and he borrowed money from the petitioner and to discharge his liability, he issued a cheque dated 25.01.2016 to the petitioner, which was dishonoured.
So, the petitioner has issued a notice to the defacto complainant on 01.03.2016 and subsequent to that, a false complaint has been foisted against the petitioner. Further, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed a typed set of papers containing cheque was issued to the petitioner by the defacto complainant and also notice was issued to the defacto complainant by the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.
6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Panruti, Cuddalore District and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
7.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. 31.03.2016 Crl.O.P.No.5832 of 2016
