ORDER

This writ petition has been filed on the ground that the Respondent has not filed final report as directed by this Court vide order dated 28.06.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.14665 of 2022. This Court while passing the order, taking note of the fact that this matter is arising out of the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Cases, held that no time limit can be fixed to complete the investigation and file a final report. However, directed the Respondents to expedite the investigation and file a final report.

2. Though it is the contention of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that no progress has been made in this case, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that substantial portion of investigation has already over and the petitioner despite three summons petitioner has not cooperated with Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation. 2/4

3. In such a view of the matter, the Petitioner shall appear before the Respondent Police on 22.12.2022 and after recording his statement, the Respondent police shall expedite the process and file final report.
