ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the petitioner lodging a complaint seeking police protection, no action has been taken on the same.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced an enquiry report. From the enquiry report, it is seen that the petitioner and the counter complainants called for enquiry. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Omalur Taluk, Salem, had conducted the enquiry and thereafter statement was recorded. Both the parties agreed not to interfere in each other affairs, recording the same, the enquiry was closed earlier. Thereafter only this petition has come to be filed.

4.Finding that there is no dispute pending between the petitioner and the counter complainants and the enquiry was also conducted and closed and the petitioner as well as counter complainants along with witnesses have signed the same, no specific order is necessary in this regard. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
