This Writ Petition is filed to quash the impugned auction notification in Na.Ka.No.6137/2015/A4, dated 30.03.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent.
2. It is seen from the terms and conditions of the Notification dated 30.03.2017 that, it was issued inviting to auction the shops belonging to the Respondent Municipality. The said terms and conditions absolutely state that, the license period of 12 months is granted to run the shops as per the terms and conditions of the Notification. Now, the said period of 12 months has lapsed. It is also stated that, earlier on 31.08.2016, this court has granted an interim https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
direction, permitting the petitioner to participate in the bid for the shops which intended to do so.
3. In view of the interim direction 31.08.2016 granted by this Court, and taking note of the fact that the period of license has lapsed, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
