Mr.Veda Bagath Singh Special Government Pleader for R1 to R4 Mr.V.Karthikeyan for R5 & R6 (in both writ petitions) COMMON ORDER Mr.Dheeraj, representing learned counsel on record, makes an endorsement withdrawing these writ petitions, as the petitioner prefers to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned by way of statutory appeal under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act. The time for filing an appeal is sixty days from date of receipt of the order.

However, learned counsel for the official respondents does not raise any objection to this Court permitting the petitioner 2/4
to file an appeal. Thus, the petitioner is granted liberty to file an appeal within four weeks from date of receipt of this order. If an appeal is filed within the aforesaid time frame, the same shall be taken up on file and disposed by the appellate authority within a period of twelve weeks from the date of institution of the appeal after hearing the petitioner as well as private respondent ie., R5 and R6 as well as any other private parties, who may be thought necessary.

Writ petitions are dismissed with liberty in above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
