ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2025 for voluntary retirement from service and on acceptance of the same, to consequently disburse all retirement benefits including settlement of contributory pension scheme accumulation after G. O. Ms No. 59 dated 22.02.2016
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had given a representation on 09.04.2025 seeking consideration of his voluntary retirement application. In pursuance of this voluntary retirement application, the respondent has sent a letter to submit the application in the prescribed form. Based upon the request, he submitted the application in the prescribed form on 21.07.2025 and such application is pending with the respondent.

3. At this juncture, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that they will consider the said application within the period provided under the statutory period.
4. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's voluntary retirement application and pass orders within a statutory period, based on its own merits and in accordance with law.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
