ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to grant building permission or license or permit the 3rd respondent to put up construction in respect of Plot No. 995, Door No. 39, Plot No. 995, Kennedy street, G.K.M.Colony, Periyar Nagr, Chennai 600 082 comprised in R.S. No. 14 part situated in Konnur Village, Purasawakkam Perambur Taluk, admeasuring an extent of 2524 sq.ft.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had passed away and further stated that he received the information, only three days back.

Learned counsel for the first respondent filed counter affidavit and submitted that the respondent corporation had sanctioned the approval for building planning permission at Old Door No.39, New No.62, Block No, Plot No.995, Survey No.14 Part, G.K.M. Colony, 26 th Street, G.K.M. Colony, Peravallur, Konnar, Chennai-600 082 on 12.07.2019 vide proceedings No.PPA/WDCN06/04100/2019. Hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

4. Heard both sides and perused the records.

5. On a perusal of the proceedings No.PPA/WDCN06/04100/2019, dated 12.07.2019, it reveals that the building permission was granted by the first respondent corporation to the third respondent on 12.07.2025 and the Writ 3/6

Petition was filed on 06.09.2019. Hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
