The present Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the cross objector, respondent in CMA No.1784 of 2018 / claimant before the Tribunal, seeking to condone delay of 337 days in filing the cross objection. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the above petition, it had been stated that owing to lack of funds, the cross objection could not be filed in time and there was a delay in filing the cross objection. 3.In view of the reasons stated, the petition is allowed and the delay of 337 days is condoned. However, if at all any enhancement of compensation is granted owing to the cross objection being considered favourably, the Insurance Company will not be liable to pay interest for 337 days for the enhanced of compensation.

4.The Registry is directed to number the Cross Obj. SR. No.115521 of 2019, if it is otherwise in order and list along with CMA No.1784 of 2018 on 29.03.2022.
