O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2016 by giving necessary police protection for measuring the petitioner's property.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though the petitioner has given representation/complaint to the 2nd respondent on 01.03.2016 seeking relief for police protection, the respondents have not come forward to give police protection, Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

4.Considering the rival submissions made on either side and a perusal of the typed set of papers it is clear that the petitioner has already given an Application before the Tahsildar, Chennai - 72 seeking to measure the property with police protection. The petitioner has also given a representation on 01.03.2016 before the 2nd respondent and sought for police protection, hence it is a fit case for directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
