ORDER

The accused herein has been trapped for receiving bribe and the allegation which she now faces is that she has received bribe to the range of Rs.100/- to 1/4

Rs.1,000/-, for which the prosecution proposes to cite more than 100 witnesses. 28 witnesses have already been examined in this grand endeavour of the prosecution. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal.

2.Heard Dr.C.E.Pratap, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), for the respondent.

3.The prosecution is advised to go through the list of witnesses carefully and to drop such witnesses as might not be necessary for establishing the guilt of the petitioner. The trial Court is required to take all expeditious efforts to dispose of this case atleast within a period of six (6) months. 4.This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of accordingly. 05.09.2024 kas Index : Yes / No To 2/4
