ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed for directing the 1 st respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2025 seeking for promotion to the post of Livestock Inspector in the Animal Husbandry Department in accordance with law.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has sent representation on 13.05.2025 seeking promotion for the post of Livestock Inspector in the Animal Husbandry Department.
3. At this juncture, learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner is claiming promotion under the inservice candidate quota and the petitioner's representation had already been considered by the 2 nd respondent.
4.It is the further submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents are in the process of promoting the inservice candidates in coordination with the TNPSC. Hence, in this connection, he has submitted an order of the 2 nd respondent dated 18.06.2025. Therefore, it is apparent that the
petitioner's representation has already been considered and they are in the process of promoting the petitioner and the similarly placed person.
5. Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of, and the respondents are directed to take all initiatives to promote the petitioner and other similarly placed persons in accordance with law and on its own merits within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed.
