O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated on 01.03.2016 and take further action.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has not shown any interest to enquire the matter and to register an FIR. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry in CSR No.163 of 2016 was conducted and on 22.03.2016, the petitioner appeared before the respondent police for enquiry and stated that he is not pressing the complaint. Hence, the same was closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum. A copy of the closure report has been furnished today.
