ORDER
This contempt proceedings has been initiated for the alleged non implementation of the order in W.P. No.11162 of 2024 dated 22.07.2024.
2. When the matter came up on 01.09.2025, I heard Mr. G. Pushparaj (Party-in-person) and Mr. M. Shajahan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. I noted that though the orders had been passed by the Block Development Officer, Koliyanur Panchayat Union, Villupuram District,
recovery had not been effected till now. Hence, I requested Mr. M. Shajahan, learned Special Government Pleader to ensure the orders of the Court dated 22.07.2024 are complied with.
4. When the matter was taken up today, he has produced the instructions from the Block Development Officer, Koliyanur Panchayat Union, Villupuram District. The instruction shows that amounts have been recovered from the village persons. For ready reference, the same is scanned and extracted hereunder:
5. Since the order has been complied with, albeit with some delay, I am not inclined to initiate any further steps. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
6. Mr. G. Pushparaj, party in person alleges that the Block Development Officer, Koliyanur Panchayat Union, Villupuram District had exceeded his jurisdiction, while initiating action. Mr. G.
