ORDER

The petitioner/A1 has filed this petition to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.20 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner/A1 that the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant, who is his wife, had lodged a false complaint against him and his family members alleging demand of dowry and harassment.

3. According to the petitioner, the complaint has been lodged only with an ulterior motive to prosecute them.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that investigation in Crime No.20 of 2024 has already been completed and a charge sheet has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee on 23.07.2025.

5. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
