ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 13.03.2016 sent to the respondent police and investigate the same in accordance with the law. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that for the same transaction, on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.195 of 2016 for offences under Sections 504, 506(i) and 4 of the 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Women Harassment Act , 1998 and investigation is pending.
4. Recording the same, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to conduct enquiry in Crime No.195 of 2016 expeditiously and take action in accordance with law.
