When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Central Government Counsel for NMC, appearing on behalf of the 2nd respondent submitted that the relief sought for in the present writ petition viz., the reopening of the portal has already been granted by the Department, as several similarly placed individuals had raised the same grievance. Therefore, the issue involved in the present writ petition has become infructuous and the learned counsel has also made an endorsement in this petition to that effect.
