ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.67 of 2025, which was filed under Sections 420 and 406 of IPC against him.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the documents placed on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, submits that investigation is at the initial stage and thereby pleaded to dismiss the petition.

4. On a perusal of the records it reveals that admittedly, the petitioner is not arrayed as an accused in the FIR and FIR has been registered only against A.1 and A.2. Further, only during the investigation, it revealed that the petitioner also appears to have been received the gold from A.1 and A.2 and sold the gold. Since the investigation is in preliminary stage, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise and hence the present Petition is dismissed.
