This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 18 of 2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is reported that the first respondent police has completed the investigation and filed a final report and the same has taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate I, Poonamallee in C.C.No.245 of 2024.

3. In view of the fact that the investigation has already been completed and in view of prima facie material to proceed against the accused, Court has taken cognizance.

4. Under these circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.18 of 2023 is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, It is open for the petitioner to challenge the final report if so advised.
