ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the first Respondent to appoint an Enquiry officer to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.08.2024 and take action into the matter.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the third respondent borrowed a sum of Rs.45,000/- from the Temple viz., "Muthumariyamman Temple". When the same was demanded, he assaulted the petitioner. Hence, he made a complaint against the third respondent, but no action has been taken. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

3. There is no representation for the petitioner.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the complaint, no action has been taken. Therefore, he seeks a direction to appoint an enquiry officer to take further action.

5. This Court is of the view that such direction cannot be granted mechanically. Since it is alleged that the complaint has not been taken on file and not enquired, the proper remedy is to file a private complaint.
