Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 09.09.2021 and 13.09.2021 respectively and consequently directing the respondents to dispose the appeal in Na.Ka.M4/21798/2018, dated 30.08.2019 forthwith. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the representations of the petitioner dated 09.09.2021 and 13.09.2021 respectively and consequently, directing the respondents to dispose the appeal in Na.Ka.M4/21798/2018, dated 30.08.2019, forthwith.
2. The petitioner filed an appeal as against the issuance of patta in favour of one Kamalakannan before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvannamalai District. The said appeal was rejected by an order dated 25.05.2018. Aggrieved by the same, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
she preferred representations dated 09.09.2021 and 13.09.2021 and they are pending on the file of the 1st respondent. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent issued summons to the petitioner on 30.08.2019 to attend the enquiry to be held on 16.09.2019. However, no enquiry has been proceeded and it is pending.
3. Considering the above, the 1st respondent is directed to issue fresh notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representations dated 09.09.2021 and 13.09.2021 respectively and dispose the appeal in Na.Ka.M4/21798/2018, dated 30.08.2019, after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
