For Petitioner : Mr.K.Ramasamy For Respondents : Mr.C.Emalias Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to not to harass the petitioner.

2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is accused in Crime No.472 of 2014 and the case is under trial in C.C.No.243 of 2014 on the file of the VI Additional Sessions Court, Chennai, but the respondents are frequently calling the petitioner and harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above. 4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during the last M.P. Election, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

was impersonating himself as flying squad and collected and taken away Rs.30 Lakhs and nearly four cases have been registered against the petitioner and they are pending. He would further submit that the petitioner is a history sheeted rowdy and because of the incoming election, he is wanted for binding over and therefore, notice was issued. Hence, he prayed for the dismissal of the petition.

5.Considering the rival submissions and on perusal of typed set of papers, it is known that the petitioner herein is accused in four cases for impersonating himself as flying squad and collected a sum of Rs.30 Lakhs and mis-appropriated the same and since election was declared, he was called for binding over. Hence, I do not find any merits in this petition. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 12.06.2016.
