(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner. Heard Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4, Mr.Abishek Murthy, learned counsel for respondent 5, Mr.C.E.Pratap, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for respondents 6 & 7 and Mr.R.Prabakaran, learned counsel for respondent 8.

2. The writ petition is filed to ensure safe passage of the general public across the public roads in Sree Prasanna Avenue, comprised in S.F.Nos.252/1A & 253 of Mannarai Village.

3. Counter affidavit has been filed by the fifth respondent, which states that fifty feet wide road, thirty feet wide East-West road, twenty feet cross road and North-South road are in existence in the Prasanna Avenue area.

4. In view of the counter filed on record, the grievance of the petitioner may not subsist. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.7947 of 2017 is closed.
