O R D E R

The petitioner is a resident of Tambaram, Kancheepuram District. The respondent police are located at Selvapuram, Coimbatore. The petitioner is finding it difficult to travel to Coimbatore and appear before the respondent police on a daily basis. Furthermore, the petitioner has business interests in Chennai and is unable to reside in Coimbatore for an extended period.

2. It is also submitted that the co-accused in this case, namely A1, A3, and A4, have already been granted anticipatory bail, and even the conditions imposed on them have been relaxed. Hence, the petitioner seeks a similar modification of the conditions imposed on him.

3. Considering the petitioner's difficulty in commuting from Chennai to Coimbatore on a daily basis, this Court directs that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police at Selvapuram, Coimbatore, every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for a period of four weeks. Thereafter, the petitioner shall appear as and when required for interrogation.

4. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
