Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2019 seeking compensation under the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013 in the light of the Government Order dated 30.11.2013 in G.O(Ms).No.1055, Home (PoliceXX) issued by the Home Department (Police XII), Tamil Nadu Government, within time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2019 seeking compensation under the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013.

2.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the present petition and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in her representation dated 05.08.2019, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.This writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
