Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.09.2015 and to investigate the matter and filed a final report within the stipulated period.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 29.09.2015, given by the petitioner and to investigate the same and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by Dharmalingam, the husband of the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.314 of 2015. Similarly, on the complaint given by Uma, the petitioner herein, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.282 of 2015 and the same was closed.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, already a case in Crime No.12 of 2015 has been registered by the Gingee Police Station against the husband and in-laws of Uma. Thereafter, both the parties have given allegations and counter allegations against each other before the respondent Police, which was found to be false.

Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
