O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint dated 18.08.2015 given by the petitioner and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint stating that on 16.8.2015 at 10.30 p.m. when she was standing in front of her parents house, watching the dance programme in the village festival, one Arumugam, who is the neighbour of the petitioner, in a drunken mood, abused the petitioner in filthy language and tried to pull her saree and attacked her by using his legs and also threatened her with dire consequences. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the instruction, submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR.No.122/2015 has been assigned and on completion of enquiry, the complaint was closed on 30.08.2015. He further submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that some of the allegations in the complaint are false and there was money transaction between the petitioner and the said Arumugam.

5. Since the complaint of the petitioner has been closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
