O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 23.12.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against her husband stating that consuming alcohol during night time, her husband continued to harass her and also demanded dowry of huge amount. Since, no action was taken, the present petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that earlier a complaint was lodged with the respondent police, in which, in C.S.R.No.85/2015 was assigned and the petitioner's husband undertook to return the jewels and other articles and thereafter, he failed to return the jewels. Hence, a present complaint was lodged, for which, C.S.R.No.679/2015 was assigned.

4. Since C.S.R number was assigned on the complaint dated 23.12.2015 given by the petitioner, the respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry on the said complaint and upon enquiry, if the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.
