The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent not harass the petitioner and his family members based on the complaint given by 3rd respondent and consequently direct the 2nd respondent Police not to interfere in civil disputes between the petitioner and 3rd respondent involved in the subject matter of the suit in O.S.No.30 of 2015 on the file of the learned I Additional District Judge at Cuddalore by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2025.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the third respondent herein, the second respondent-Police summoned the petitioner for enquiry and after conducting enquiry, it was found that the dispute between the parties is civil in nature and a civil suit in O.S.No.30 2/5
of 2015 on the file of I Additional District Court, Cuddalore is also pending between them and hence, the said complaint was closed. He further submitted that as on date no complaint is pending against the petitioner. Therefore, there is no harassment as alleged by the petitioner.
3. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the Civil Court in manner known to law.
