..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st to 2th Respondents to take appropriate steps to maintain law and order and to ensure the smooth running/functioning of Toll Operations in Sengurichi Toll Plaza, Kallakurichi District and Thirumandurai Toll Plaza, Perambalur District.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to take appropriate steps to maintain law and order and to ensure the smooth running/functioning of Toll Operations in Sengurichi Toll Plaza, Kallakurichi District and Thirumandurai Toll Plaza, Perambalur District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, as on date, the Toll Plaza is running smoothly, without any hindrance and the issue of labour aggression was also sorted out by replacing with the migrant workers.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 10 has also confirmed the aforesaid submission.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. As the issue of labour unrest has been resolved by employing migrant workers, no further order is necessary in this writ petition. In the event of any future labour disputes, the petitioner is at liberty to file a formal police complaint with the concerned jurisdictional police.
