O R D E R

This writ petition ha been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 04.7.2025, wherein the petitioner is seeking for determination of his right of Mutawalliship. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents produced the copy of the earlier order passed by this Court in WP.No.16570 of 2021, dated 17.6.2025. The learned Standing Counsel submitted that this Court took into consideration the fact that the period of Adhoc Committee came to an end and hence directed the Waqf Board to proceed further with the process of election and complete the same within a period of six months. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that appointment of a Committee is only a stop-gap arrangement and the right of the petitioner for Mutawalliship has to be independently decided by the respondents. 4.In the considered view of this Court, it is not necessary for this Court to decide on the rival claim made by the petitioner. This Court has already issued a direction to the Waqf Board to complete the process of election within a period of six months. In the meantime, the petitioner is claiming a right of Mutawalliship by placing reliance upon proforma.
