COMMON PRAYER: Contempt Petitions filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, praying to punish the respondents for committing willful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.A.Nos.62, 73, 59 66, 65 and 68 of 2023 dated 01.08.2023.
For Petitioners : M/s.Anna Mathew in all petitions For Respondents : M/s.M.Sneha, Spl. Counsel in all petitions ***** COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) These Contempt Petitions have been instituted seeking to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 01.08.2023 passed in W.A.Nos.62, 73, 59 66, 65 and 68 of 2023.
2. M/s.Anna Mathew, learned counsel for the contempt petitioners and the learned Special Counsel for the respondents would submit that the order of this Court has been complied with in all respects.
3. The learned counsel for the contempt petitioners would submit that regarding deduction of tax a direction is to be issued. 2/4
4. This Court is not inclined to give any further direction in the present Contempt Petition by expanding the scope. More so, in the Contempt Petition such direction cannot be issued. If at all any grievance exists, it is for the petitioners to approach the Authorities in the manner known to law.
