ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the respondent-police to file final report in Cr.No.248/2025 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, the respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No.248 of 2025 on 21.6.2025. Investigation is under progress. The respondent-Police has sent Viscera report to the Forensic Laboratory and awaiting for the report.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Court is not inclined to fix any specific time to complete the investigation. However, the respondent-Police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report as early as possible. 2/4

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
