When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Writ Petition has been filed against the transfer order. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioner retired from service with effect from 30.06.2023 and as such nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and requested to dismiss this Writ petition as infructuous.
