Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2016 for issue of patta pertaining to his property bearing Survey No.239/2, Sub Division 1 admeasuring an extent of 2 Acres of Ramapuram Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Tiruvallur District and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to remove th fencing put up at the aforesaid Survey Number belonging to the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2016 for issuance of patta pertaining to his property bearing Survey No.239/2, Sub Division 1, measuring an extent of 2 Acres of Ramapuram Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Tiruvallur District and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to remove th fencing put up at the aforesaid Survey Number belonging to the petitioner.
2. Mr. V. Sridharan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the fact that the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 18.12.2016 for issuance of patta, the 1st respondent has not passed any order sofar.
3. Ms. A. Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.12.2016, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.12.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
