The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the fourth respondent dated 16.08.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the fourth respondent to give the details as to how fair rent was arrived of rent statement based on the representation dated 23.08.2024.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the proceedings initiated under Section 78 of the HR & CE Act, however, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent Authority for getting remedy in the proceedings initiated under Section 78 of the HR & CE Act.

3.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, grants liberty to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 4.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
