The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner to enable him to perform homam on 25.09.2019 and 17.10.2019 based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 05.08.2019.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police.

4. Today when the petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in respect of the representation given by the petitioner dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

05.08.2019, the first respondent police initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.455 of 2019 and the same has been closed on 13.06.2019 itself.

5. On the other hand, on going through the prayer sought for by the petitioner, it is seen that he wants police protection to perform homam on 25.09.2019 and 17.10.2019 and therefore, as of now, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
