ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed challenging the Order passed in I.A. No.1 of 2023 in I.D.O.P. No. 11 of 2023 on the file of the Court of District Judge, Nagapattinam.

2. The petitioner-father has approached the Trial Court seeking restitution of his right to have access to his minor daughter in I.A. No. 1 of 2023, which

was dismissed by the trial Court. Aggrieved by the same, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed.

3. Pending disposal of this petition, the petitioner, who is an advocate, has expressed his willingness to take care of the child. However, the respondent/mother contends that the child should continue to remain with her.

4. As rightly pointed out by the learned counsel for the respondent, the father has not paid any maintenance to the child so far. However, he has now agreed to pay maintenance.

5. Accordingly, the father is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month towards maintenance of the child and also to bear 50% of the educational expenses, until further orders or modification.

6. For the welfare of the child and to avoid further complications, it is directed that the respondent shall hand over the child to the petitioner-father at Arulanandam Kovil at 10:30 a.m., and the petitioner-father shall return the child to the respondent (mother) at 5:00 p.m. on the same day.

7. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 17-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MPA To
