For the Appellants in all the appeals : Mr.M.Muruganantham For the Respondents in all the appeals : Mr.D.Ravichander Special Government Pleader for 1st respondent : Mr.Goutham S.Raman for respondents 2 to 5 COMMON JUDGMENT (Delivered by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.M.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the appellants; Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent; and Mr.Gautham S.Raman, learned counsel for respondents 2 to 5.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the appellants fairly conceded before this court that the learned Single Judge has granted the relief prayed for in the writ petitions, however, no specific order has been passed insofar as commutation of pension and interest are concerned. He submitted that the appellants have made representations to the third respondent on 19.8.2024 and 27.8.2024 and the same are still pending.
3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made, these writ appeals are disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representations of the appellants dated 19.8.2024 and 27.8.2024 and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.Nos.21555, 21569, 21701 and 21705 of 2024 are closed.
