JUDGMENT
(The order of this Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam,J.,) The writ appeal has been instituted challenging the order dated 12.08.2022 in W.P.No.20658 of 2022.
2. The writ petitioner is the appellant. Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to receive property tax for the land and house situated at door No.4/470 - 1, Kamaraj Nagar, Soolagiri, Krishnagiri District. A mere direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation would not service the cause of justice. 3.In the present case, no property tax assessment has been made by the local authority. The reason also is unknown. Therefore, the petitioner has to produce all relevant documents to establish his right to assess his property in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules. Contrarily, High Court cannot issue a direction to make property tax assessment or to consider the representation, since the petitioner has not established any semblance of legal right in the present writ petition. all the petitioner possess any document to establish his right, all such documents are to be produced before the authorities for consideration. 4.With these observations, the writ appeal stands disposed of. No costs.
